Got Complaints?

I just finished reading some words that were written by King David long ago. They challenged me to really consider how we pour out our complaints over the phone, in emails and text messages, in person, on Facebook and Twitter, and even in our own personal blogs.

“With my voice I cry out to the Lord; with my voice I plead for mercy to the Lord. I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him.” – Psalm 142:1-2

Give your spouse and your friends a break from the bulk of your complaining. Take your complaints to the Lord first.

The Fight of Fools

One does great evil in an attempt to produce great evil in another. Sadly, the plot often prevails.

Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end. – Proverbs 29:11
